Snuggly Warm
Charlie's now going through his naked time phase. As soon as we walk in the door, the pants and shirt come off, and most times, the diaper flies off as well. The other day it was cold and rainy outside, but he wasn't willing to put on any clothes to go play, so he opened the window, dragged his blankets out and snuggled up on the couch. He told me that he likes being "snuggly warm."
This was so funny to me because it made me realize that quirky genes get inherited just as much as the physical ones......Justin is the king of getting warm. When he was younger, he would use his mom's hairdryer and plug it in next to the bed and just blast it into his blankets. Even now when we lay in bed at night, he talks about his different ideas for creating the perfect "heat cocoon."
Maybe Charlie's heard Justin talk about snuggling up with the blankets, I don't know. Personally, I think that the "snuggly warm" gene was inherited. Ooh, weird. What will turn up next?

yes! jos is back! loved the black and white picture...but not as much as the story. hysterical! i used to put in blankets in the dryer before i got into bed when we lived at the r house.

maybe when he grows up he'll blowdry his hair wearing nothing but a thong and his bra ... oh wait, that'd be a little scary. maybe your daughters will inherit that josie-gene.
