Huntington Beach House Week

Here's our camp at the beach. The kids played so hard that Quinn, Avery, and Charlie had no problems taking a nap right in the sand everyday. But Elle was too busy "grazing" on snacks the whole day to worry about sleeping.
Having Nana and Grampy Dune come was the highlight of all the grandkids' vacations.

Elle's second birthday party at Rainforest Cafe. Balloon hats are very serious business for Charlie.
Grampy Dune buried Charlie so deep that he couldn't get out.

It was such a fun week with all my sisters (but a little lonely without Uncle Dadey). We played at the beach, went to Sea World, walked on the pier, ate out tons, and watched the Barbie movie, "Magic Pegasus" about a gazillion times. Charlie still likes to cruise around naked all the time, and since he's the only boy out of 7 grandkids, some of the girls were very curious and a little confused. It was really hard to leave everybody today, so I've decided to never go on vacation again...then I'll never be sad to leave.

what fun to have so many little ones in your family. there really are a ton of them. charlie's face with grandma reading to the kids is so cute--it made me giggle. i hate leaving my family too.
