Gross

Two nights ago, Charlie stripped off his pants, bent over, and began vigorously scratching his bunda. We told him it was gross and to stop it. He then left the room, but was quiet for a while, so Justin went to check on him. Justin found Charlie in the hallway, naked, rubbing my round brush all over his bum hole.

I just assumed that he hadn't wiped well enough, and that was the cause of the red, itchy bumps, so I put diaper rash cream on him thinking that would stop the frantic scratching. But it didn't. He just ended up crying, yelling that it was still itchy, and I ended up with my face up against his rear end, blowing on it to calm the itch.

But later that night, I got a phone call from Lia asking if Charlie had a rash.

Apparantly, Charlie and Kayla had gotten SAND FLEAS all over them from when we went to the beach. The red itchy bumps were individual stings that are more itchy than regular bug bites.

The scratching has since subsided, and Charlie is nearly recovered from the stings. But my round brush has found a new home in the garbage.

Aside from being fowl, the roundbrush approach is actually pretty ingenious--gotta give Charlie points for creativity. Kayla thankfully did not get any stings in her nether-regions, but insisted on having band aids on some of them. Needless to say, we are out of band-aids. PS: Here's to a full night's rest for you--I think we need to go to Mitchell's to celebrate! Chocolate Caramel Crackle, it's been way too long my friend. Call you when we get back to set that up...

Too funny! At least he didn't scratch his bum on the carpet like a dog. Maybe he became my favorite dirty girl's dirty boy!
