The side yard

Our backyard has an ENORMOUS avocado tree in it that is the bain of my existence. I hate that stupid thing. It blocks all the sun, drops leaves and other nastiness constantlly, and as if to add insult to injury, doesn't even produce edible avocados. Blasted thing.

Luckily we have a side yard that stays clean and sunny. If I'm outside with the kids, it's on the side. I spent one afternoon timing Charlie while he ran or rode his scooter up and down the walkway,

watched Macy pretend to be old

And attempted to teach Dylan how to jumprope.
