Catching up

A couple weeks ago, my dear friend Kristin got married. The day after, she and her husband Erik drove up here and we were able to go to dinner with them and our other friend from growing up, Cathie.

We went to an Italian restaurant in the city with a name that I'm completely blanking on. The gnocci was absolutely to die for, and the conversation was even better.

It was so fun to see Kristin and Erik so happy.

I, however, was not satisfied with my hangout time with Cathie. So she came over a few days later and I was able to play with her and her cute little boy, Bradley. I'm so glad that she lives close enough that we can see each other often.
