It's not all bad

Seven weeks ago, Justin was unexpectedly laid off. No one was more surprised than he was. It was scary for both of us, especially with a baby on the way and the holidays around the corner.

But he has stayed optimistic and hopeful (while I frequently have minor freak outs). And it honestly couldn't have been better timing with Charlie and Dylan out of school for two weeks. We've been able to do a ton together as a family, and even Macy is warming up to the idea of having him around more.
