Slanted Door

There's a Vietnamese restaurant in the city called The Slanted Door that's right on the water and has an amazing view of the Bay Bridge right behind.  Lisa and Merrill introduced it to us a couple of years ago and we have been huge fans ever since.  Merrill is friends with the owner and hooked us UP when we went there a while ago.  At the end, we counted 25 dishes that were brought out for us.  25!  There was so much and it was all so good that at one point, Lisa had to leave to throw up so that we could devour some more.  Pure deliciousness.

So for my birthday, Lisa and Merrill took us there to celebrate.

The funniest part was after dinner when I asked a waiter who was on his break to take our picture.  Lisa made a joke about getting the super moon in the picture, and he took it very seriously.  He spent the next five minutes trying every angle and every distance to get us as well as the moon in the picture.  Glad we have it documented.
